The Plug, a Management, Music Publishing, Licensing, Distribution, and Entertainment company launched its Sports management division Plug Sports, on 30 December 2019 in Lagos-Nigeria.

The division is a flagship of The Plug Entertainment, known for distributing music for, Davido Music Worldwide.

Early today, Plug Sports went into partnership with K.S Management, a Nigeria consultant agency founded by Koye Sowemimo.

According to Lanre Vigo, the head of the sporting division, tweeted “The era of partnership and collaborations is upon us. Plug Sports & K.S Management team up for success”.

Shortly after the partnership, the co-founders, Lanre Vigo, Bizzle Osikoya, and Asa Asika, announced it will be hosting the 7th edition of Asisat Oshoala Foundation football tournament, right after the company had just welcomed Asisat Oshoala under its sporting management on 1 July 2020.
