The aide who, through one of his close friends, spoke to Vanguard, said his life is in danger.
According to him, his life became threatened after he exposed some Nigerian soldiers who allegedly invaded the residence of the Rivers State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Tamunosisi Gogo Jaja, and illegally arrested him.
In what seemed to be evidence, Wike’s aide showed many video clips showing some soldiers allegedly invading the private residence of the commissioner.
Meanwhile, in a couple of tweets also, the aide said he was not fighting the Nigerian army by exposing those soldiers in the video clips but that he was only “fighting for and will continue to fight for is the respect of the rule of law and democracy.”
According to him, “My life is now in danger. Too many plans by soldiers to harm me have been intercepted. You the Nigerian people must know. I didn’t set out to fight the @HQNigerianArmy. What we are fighting for and will continue to fight for is the respect of the rule of law and democracy.”
