There have been multiple reports of hijack of election materials during the governorship and State House of Assembly elections in Akwa Ibom state.

Election materials were reportedly hijacked in Unit 17 and 18 of Ukana Iba ward in in Essien Udim Local Government Area.

Materials were also hijacked at Oruk Anam, Ward 7, Unit 1.
