#NigeriaDecides: Enugu calm, voting ongoing with few hitches

ENUGU-There is calm in most parts of Enugu state as voting in Presidential and national assembly elections go on with few hitches in parts of the state.

Voting started in Ikem Umuaram CS polling unit, Isi-Uzo LGA at about 9am after materials were distributed at the Registration centre’s.

House of Representatives member, Dr Kingsley Ebenyi said except for the card readers that sometimes rejected finger prints, the exercise was fine.

PDP polling agent at Ugwogo, Enugu East LGA, Emeka Agbo said voting started in his unit by 8:30am and was going on smoothly.

Similarly, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi voted at Amube-Orba Ward 2 by 10:02am and said “in everything we give God the glory.”

Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu voted at about 11:20 but remarked that some election materials were not complete in some polling areas of Enugu in Enugu West Senatorial District.

Former Governor Sullivan Chime said except for some cases of card reader malfunction, voting went on fine in Eke Udi polling units.
