Former Kano State governor, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, has defended All Progressives Congress, APC’s automa-tic tickets for candidates, as long as it complies with electoral laws.

Speaking in Kano on Time Base TV, he added that direct primaries are best for all the parties to adopt at all levels, because of the people’s enthusiasm to participate, noting that it eliminates corruption.
