Chairman, Seafarers Unit, Excravos Chapter of Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria, Seamen and Water Transport branch, Ebami Tunokan, has assured members of the union of better welfare package in his next four years in office.
Tunokan, who gave the assurance while addressing members after the successful election where he was returned unopposed for another term, said he will not relent in his goodwill in giving his colleagues the needed attention at all times.
He also promised the members of his preparedness to run a transparent administration adding that he will not fail in his duty to carry all workers along in the course of discharging his legitimate duty, promising not to disappoint them on the confidence reposed in him.
Others elected include Mr John Daje, (Vice Chairman), Lewis Nene (Secretary), Ofe Mene (Treasurer), William Daje (Coordinator), Samson Ukponu, (PRO), Frank Eyeoyibo (Adviser), Menewe Eleremi (Asst Sec), David Mamah, Japhet Emami, Jonathan Omatseye and Ranson Goki (ex Officials), among others.
