Major stakeholders in Kwara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), comprising the Elders Forum and One Umbrella Project, yesterday pledged their loyalty to the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, and the state governor,  Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed.

At separate events in Ilorin, they also vowed not to support those they described as outsiders to take over the state. Spokesperson of the Elders Forum,  Alhaji Abubakar Sanni described the defection of Saraki and his supporters as a new dawn.

His words: “I want to say that it is indeed a reunion of old and longtime friends, who have jointly contributed in no small measures to the development of Nigeria. The PDP in the state is, therefore, prepared to work with Dr. Saraki,  Ahmed and anyone who opposes us  does not have the interest of Kwara at heart and we will not sell the future of Kwarans to outsiders’’
