A leading member of the Kwankwasiyya movement in Kano, Hajiya Binta Spikin has broken the suspense and anxiety that followed the defection of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso from the ruling All Progressive Congress APC to the People’s Democratic Party PDP stating that he is coming to Kano when the time is ripe.

“Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso is surely coming to Kano when the time is ripe and no one can stop that” she stated.

Speaking with Vanguard, the spokeswoman expressed satisfaction with the supporters of Senator Kwankwaso who are busy in the political activity of mobilization and building support while she called on them not to relent.

“We should sustain the tempo and ensure that we work hard and ensure that the PDP takes back the mantle of power in Kano in particular and Nigeria at large” she declared.

Another women leader Hajiya Atine Abdullahi supporting the her counterpart also declared that Senator Kwankwaso belongs to Kano and Kano belongs to him.

“Senator Kwankwaso is from Kano and belongs to Kano and Kano belongs to him. He is a bonafide citizen of the state. No one can stop him from entering Kano” she explained.

Senator Kwankwaso is seen as a major critic of the Kano state Governor Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, who served as the deputy when he was governor of the state.

It would be recalled that in January this year the police advised the Senator to suspend entering Kano until there is no more tension among the supporters of the two divides even as they belonged to the same APC then.

Since then the Senator has not made a home coming leaving the entire Kano political arena in suspense and anxiety.
