OWERRI—FORMER Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha, yesterday said the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, would wrestle power from the All Progressives Congress, APC, in 2019 presidential election.
His statement is coming when his former boss, the immediate pa
st Speaker of the House of Representatives and current Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, along side others had decamped from APC to PDP.
He spoke at Nkwo Ogwu Sports Center Nguru in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area in state.
Also, Ihedioha was of the stance that he would work with other governorship aspirants in order for PDP to win Imo gubernatorial election in 2019.
According to the PDP, guber aspirant, “I will work with my fellow governorship aspirants and run inclusive government.
“There will be no loser after our primaries as every contestant that participated in the race will adequately be carried along after the victory of the party at the polls. We will work as a team to lead the party to victory at all levels.
“I am very optimistic that PDP will form the next government at the federal level. We shall recommend governorship aspirants for federal appointments while other aspirants will be accommodated at various levels.”
