NATIONAL Chairman of Non-Indigenes Culture Association, Peter Anigbogu and the entire executive of the body have commended the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Sanusi Lamido for the commissioning of the newly built ultra-modern Igbo Town Hall building in Kano, the capital of Kano State.

According to Anigbogu, with this gesture, the emir has prove that he is a detrabilized leader who can be counted upon by all non indigines resident in the ancient city.

The group also urged other leading traditional rulers in the country to emulate the Kano monarch.

He said: “We are calling on all traditional rulers in the country to emulate Alhaji Sanusi Lamido who despite his high office and exalted position have continued to associate with people of others tribes resident in his domain.”
