‘Corps members deployed to schools to support Masari’s educational revolution’

KATSINA – The Katsina State Coordinator, National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Hajiya Ramatu Sanda has said that about 90% of its Corps members have been deployed to schools in all communities to support Governor Aminu Bello Masari led administration educational revolution.

Hajiya Sanda made this known during the closing ceremony of the 2018 Batch B orientation course for about 2,078 Corps members deployed to the state.

The State coordinator said the Governor’s priority for education necessitated the decision of the NYSC management to deploy the Corps members to the schools.

According to her, “The NYSC Management in the state is mindful of the focus of your administration.

“The emphasis which you placed on Education has necessitated the posting of about ninety percent of the 2018 Batch B corps members to schools located in all communities including the hinterland,” Hajiya Sanda said.

Declaring the camp closed, Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State enjoined the Corps members on the need to live peacefully with people in their host communities and also strive to impact positively on the lives of people of their host communities through execution of projects that will benefit their communities.

Masari represented by his Special Adviser on Youth Development, Khalil Ibrahim Aminu enjoined the Corp members to be law abiding, respect the culture and tradition of the people.

“Blend with the people, assimilate some aspects of the culture of the people. Avoid keeping late nights, dress moderately and shun any form of provocative outfit,” Aminu said.
