ABUJA- AHEAD of 2019 general elections, a businessman and philantropist, Chief Mofolami Omuluabi Onirinwa, fondly called Omuluabi has joined the race for Yagba West Constituency seat at Kogi State House of Assembly, under the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC.
Onirinwa explained why he made the declaration, which according to him includes the fact that the people in his constituency deserve good and inclusive governance, while he promised that their yearnings and aspirations would be taken seriously and also ensure that all are brought to fruition as he will work hard to actualise their dreams.
He said on his Facebook page that, “I assure the good people of Yagba West Constituency that I will listen and be sensitive to all our yearnings.
“Everyone will be carried along in the process of governance. We will work very hard and ensure that all promises are kept.”
According to him the people at the grassroots deserve quality living condition and economic emancipation that would empower them as their votes and voice will be given due attention on what is good for them come 2019.
“I am a man of the grassroots and power belongs to them. I have been with them and know what they need. The needs of the youths in my little way has been addressed and also that of the women.
“I am out to contribute and give more of my time to serve them because I am brought up to render community service which I have been doing for many years right from my high school days until now.
“I believe and see that the people are there for me and have over time persuaded me to represent them but I didn’t give it a second thought, but now I have no choice than to yield to their call to service. I know by the grace of God Yagba West Constituency will experience quality representation and enjoy the fruits of their mandate”, he added.
