The All Progressives Congress APC has congratulated Dr. Kayode Fayemi, its candidate, saying his election as Governor of Ekiti State symbolizes the people’s rejection of the “crude and pedestrian” politics of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP.

An official of the Alliance for Credible Elections, Dr Omilusi Mike, ‎on Sunday commended the massive turnout of voters for Saturday’s governorship election in Ekiti and the transparency of the electoral process.

Ado-Ekiti – An international civil society organisation, Youth Initiative for Advocacy, Growth and Advancement(YIAGA), Africa, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti, as well as other stakeholders on Sunday expressed divergent opinions on the outcome of Saturday’s governorship election which produced Dr Kayode Fayemi as winner.

The United Kingdom chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has described the victory of Dr Kayode Fayemi in the just-concluded Ekiti state governorship election as “a call to higher service”.

Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has urged the Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun to “without further delay show responsibility and clear the air over the damaging certificate forgery allegations against her and settle the facts of the case once and for all.”
