The governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom has finally left All Progressives Congress, APC. He decamped to People’s Democratic Party, PDP following his announcement on Wednesday.

Terver Akase, Governor Ortom’s spokesperson confirmed the story. ““Yes, he has defected from APC to PDP”, he said.

Ortom had since been expected to dump APC, following an ‘alleged red’ card given to him by an APC stakeholder in his state.

Recall that 15 APC senators and over 31 house of representatives members, yesterday decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party.
