Okey Chucks has emerged winner of the maiden edition of Tim Godfrey’s reality music show tagged ‘Sound Check Africa’.

Sound Check Africa is a reality Show put together by Nigerian gospel music artiste, Tim Godfrey, who is the CEO of ROX NATION, to empower, mentor youths, enhance and equip them with world-class musical skills that will outlive many generations.

The reality show started with six weeks of intense master classes, intense trainings and in house competition/battles. The finals/Live show, hosted by Radio Personality, Sabina, ended with a concert which had heavyweight gospel music artistes including Sammie Okposo, Frank Edwards, Onos, Nikki Laoye, Segun Obe, Mike Abdul in attendance as judges and mentors.

The show ended with Okey Chuks carting home the sum of five hundred thousand naira cash, a recording deal, and other electronic gadgets gifts as the ultimate winner, while Sunmisola, the 1st runner up, won the sum of three hundred thousand naira amongst other gifts, as Same Oshodi, the 2nd runner-up, went home with electronic gifts.
