Find out God’s will for you

Find out God’s will for you

By Pastor Oloruntimilehin Joshua Daramola

Many people want to take care of themselves. They want to do their own wish instead of allowing God who created them and who is protecting, guiding and proving for them to direct their lives. Such people do not give God opportunity to take care of them.

These people hardly find out what is in tune with their destiny. Because they do not bother about relevant things, these people often dabble into pitfall of life, things that could cause them downfall or untimely death. Brethren, I implore you to be patient; so that you will receive what God purpo-sed for your life (James 5:7-8).

Some people begin to do the same things they are not destined to do simply because they like to do those things. For instance, someone is not destined to wear red clothes but continues wear-ing it because he or she loves it. The person sees people put on red clothes and he or she is fasci-nated. Therefore, he or she decides to put on red appar-els. Such people fail to inquire from their creator.

Similarly, people at particular age brack-ets eat certain foods and dr-inks because they are sweet and palatable, whereas those kind of nutrients are hazard-ous for people of their age bracket. It is important for us to accept that God’s will for our lives is not nego-tiable.

Why do people find it difficult to recognize the truth ? People do not allow God to direct and control the journey of their lives. They rather prefer that the-ir own will prevail; and these has led many to downfall and disaster.

For instance, when people do not con-sider God’s opinion in their choice of spouses, they make wrong choices. In the long run, the choice they had made may introduce disaster and eventually their marital life. Prospective wives look for men that are very handsome and rich, believing they will be loving and car-ing.

In the vein, prospective husbands look for spinsters that are pretty, light-complexioned and with good body sta-tistics. Invariably, they ask God to give them their kind of spouses to marry. But a man may be destined to marry a lady with tribal marks on her face .

But if he eventually weds a lady with spotless and smooth face, the lady may become attractive to other men that are richer, wealthier and more powerful than the husband. If any of the more endowed  men may desire to have the woman, then they can start to plot how to ach-ieve the desire.

At that point, a man can employ any method, either to charm the woman or eliminate the husband. The elimination can be through assassination or placing “Thunderbolt” on the woman so that when the husband makes love to her, he will die.
