Developer assures subscribers of good returns on investment

Subscribers to Royal Residence Estate, a residential estate being developed by Messrs Obika Realtors Ltd in the Lekki – Epe corridor have been assured of good returns on their investment with appreciable returns within the next 24 months.

Similarly, the middle class desiring to own their own property at an affordable cost could also be good beneficiaries of the real estate stride in a fast growing area like Ibeju –Lekki axis with the location of Dangote Refinery, Free Trade Zone, Lekki Deep Seaport , International Airport and others in the area.

The Managing Director of Obika Realtors Ltd, Mrs. Ekamma Ufot, made the remarks while carrying out the second physical allocation exercise to some of the allottees of the estate at the site in Eluju town, Ibeju – Lekki Local Government Area, Lagos.

The occasion, which also afforded the developers an avenue to showcase the infrastructure already put in place and the ones being put in place to provide a conducive living environment for the subscribers a few months after the estate was launched, attracted encomiums for the real estate firm.

Mrs. Ufot explained that part of the facilities already inaugurated in the estate are the inner roads into the well mapped out plots, perimeter fencing of the 10-acre  gated community, grading of the main link road to the estate from the Lekki–Epe Expressway, magnificent gate house, site office to provide ancillary services to allottees in the process of their property development.

She described the estate which first development covers 54 plots with over 80 per cent already subscribed, as one which level of appreciation would be very rapid in view of its excellent location and the peculiarity of being free from any interference from local inhabitants of the area popularly referred to as Omoniles.

The managing director noted that the locals have even been of good assistance to  them all through their ongoing operations on site and even to some allottees who have commenced development on their plots, pointing out that security of lives and property in the course of the development is of utmost priority to the company as there are plans for 24/7 security cover in the estate as part of the services to allottees of the scheme.

Mrs. Ufot briefed the subscribers on the good neighbours of the estate including the Lekki Free Trade Zone, Dangote Refinery, Lekki Deep Seaport and New International Airport among others, stressing that it offers close proximity to great development and remarkable investment opportunity targeted at catering for the anticipated influx of both foreign and local investors.

Reflecting on the past few months when the estate was launched, she expressed optimism about the project, stressing that the company is on the verge of embarking on the second phase of the scheme, saying “we are upbeat on the project and assurances of keen interest in the scheme are spurring us to move to the next phase.“

One of the subscribers, Pastor Emmanuel Okonkwo, expressed delight at the rate of development of infrastructure in the estate, commending the firm for putting in place processes and plans to actualise the vision of the estate.

According to Okonkwo, “It is easy to get Nigerians, especially middle class, dreaming of a decent environment in a fast growing area like Ibeju – Lekki with a well secured neighbourhood and very enlightened community.”

Another subscriber, Mr. David Adefalu, who came to pick his documents along with his wife said: “With what is on ground at the estate, the property developer has provided veritable avenue for prospective property owners along the corridor to access the land for development.”
