The husband of Chidinma Violet Ann Okeke who was kidnapped in her residence some weeks ago has disclosed the terrible ordeal him and members of his family suffered in the hands of kidnappers who abducted in his wife.

It was learned that four heavily armed gunmen stormed the victim’s residence in Port Harcourt and kidnapped her.

According to Azuka Ifenweoge, My wife Mrs. Chidinma Violet Ann Okeke was kidnapped on the 8th of December 2017 at about 7:45am at our residence in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

“The armed men numbering over four stormed my residence while my wife was returning from her supermarket at the close of the day’s business and started shooting sporadically and whisked her away in our Ford Escape SUV with registration number Lagos FKJ975AM black in colour to unknown destination. The incident was reported to the Security Agencies for immediate actions.

“However, when the kidnappers saw that she was making an attempt to escape, they began to shoot sporadically. They came and dragged her out of the car and moved her into the back seat and zoomed off.

“The kidnappers were in two groups; one of the groups took my wife in our SUV to one direction while the others were on motorcycle. Thankfully, she has been released after payment of ransom but the SUV remains missing even as the securities agencies have continued their investigations.”
