NO fewer than 500 persons are expected this year’s Sheraton Abuja Hotel annual charity event tagged –Road to Awareness 2017.

Holding this weekend, the charity event which started 10 years ago has raised close to USD 7 million with the goal of impacting positive on the lives of less privileged children in its host communities.

Nouman Irshad, General Manager, Sheraton Abuja Hotel, said this year’s event would feature various sporting activities and competitions for adults and children for a small fee.

He said: “The funds raised through this registration will be handed over to UNICEF for the cause Exciting games and activities to look out for will include Dance Aerobics, Relay Races, Tug-of-War, Egg toss, 3-legged man race, Sack race, obstacle course, how low can you go etc. We have nice prizes for winners as well. Other activities to look out for include good music, comedy and very affordable refreshments”
