Stop impersonating our monarch —Bayelsa community

By Emem Idio

COMMUNITY leaders including members of chieftaincy council and Community Development Committee, CDC, of Bilabiri I and II community in Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State have condemned the continued impersonation of the person and office of the Ibenanawei of Bilabiri Mein Kingdom, His Royal Majesty King Paul B. Seide, by some fraudulent individuals.

The community has, therefore, called on individuals and multinational companies operating in the community to be vigilant on who they relate and transact business with in the name of the community, to avoid being misled by impostors, stressing that HRM King Seide, remains the only recognized Ibenanawei of Bilabiri Mein Kingdom.

In a statement issued in Yenagoa, yesterday, on behalf of the community by Permanent Secretary of Bilabiri I, Chief David Otiti, the community leaders warned that any individual caught impersonating the office of their monarch would be made to face the full weight of the law.
