On a night in which top celebrities and fashionistas thronged Eko Hotel, Lagos for the 10th edition of Aquafina Elite Model Look Nigeria competition, Tobi Momoh beat nine other female contestants in the female category, to emerge winner, while Stephen Aladenika emerged winner in   the male category.

There were captivating spectacles to engage early birds as the walkway was beautifully decorated with Aquafina blue carpet, a water fountain which provided guests with beautiful background for selfies, etc, with cocktail to serenade the taste buds.

After the show kicked off, there was no dull moment. The 20 contestants made up of 10 males and 10 females took to the runway in different designs by notable designers.

Aramide serenaded the crowd with her beautiful performance, after which the female models came out in women’s wears by Yutee Rone for their first modeling session for the night as the male models soon followed to strut their stuff in menswear brand by Morafa.

After the first session, Agbani Darego, former Miss World, Veronica Odeka and Norden Thurston of Seven-Up Bottling Company Plc were introduced as judges for the night.

For another round in the competition, female models paraded fashion creations by Lanre Da Silva Ajayi, while the male chose fluid pieces from Sisiano.

The female finalists showcased stunning pieces from South African designer, Gert-Johan Coetzee, while the male models closed in nice suits by Mai Atafo.

Marvels, Zainab, Tobi, Elizabeth and Glory made top five ladies, while Stephen, Daniel, Tofunmi, Alex and Gilchrist made top five for the male category.

In the end, Stephen and Tobi emerged winners and were presented a cheque of N1 million each by officials of Seven Up Bottling Company, makers of Aquafina table water. The duo will also be representing Nigeria at the Elite Model Look International later in the year.
