The Host Communities of Nigeria Producing Oil and Gas, HOSTCOM, Urhobo chapter, Delta State, has decried not having a representative in the membership of Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF/ dialogue team, led by Chief Edwin Clark, presently negotiating with the Federal Government.
HOSTCOM, in a letter to Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Minister of State for Petroleum Resource, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu and Chief Edwin Clark, said Comrade Efe G. Okovwurie, chairman of Urhobo HOSTCOM was nominated and mandated to represent Urhobo oil communities in PANDEF.
According to them ,” Urhobo HOSTCOM being the mother organ of all Urhobo oil and gas producing communities in Urhobo nation, must have representatives in PANDEF to properly outline the critical challenges and issues affecting oil and gas producing communities in Urhobo nation”.
