A socio-political group, Grassroots Mobilisation for Good Governance, GMGG, has described Peoples Democratic Part, PDP, stakeholders in Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State’s meeting in Warri as a Kangaroo gathering to advance the political interest of individuals.

Prince Ojoto Okubo, Chairman of GMGG, who stated this at a meeting in Bomadi, said it was an aberration in the first place for Bomadi PDP to discuss issues affecting every community in the council outside the communities that make up the council.

He called on every son and daughter of the council to be steadfast and resist the imposition of chairmanship candidates.

The group urged Governor Ifeanyi Okowa not to listen to self-serving politicians and to ensure internal democracy.
