Former militant leader, Eshanekpe Israel, a.k.a Akpodoro, has through his lawyers, written to Mr. Jaro Egbo, Personal Assistant to Executive Director of Project Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Engr. Sam Ajogbe, over alleged defamation.

Akpodoro in the letter is asking Egbo to either produce evidence to support his claim that he was shot at robbery scene as they will meet in court of law or tender an unreserved public apology to be published as an advertorial in two national dailies.
The letter said that the defamatory publication was published on an online platform: Whatsapp, against him, Eshanekpe Israel, a.k.a Akpodoro by Egbo.
The ex-militant is asking Egbo to withdraw his alleged damaging publication within 14 days from the day he was served the letter to forestall litigation.
