THE Nigeria Police Force has solicited assistance of Akwa Ibom State Government, groups and well meaning citizens of the state to tackle the flood threatening the Police Children School, Uyo.

WORRIED by the spate of attacks on contractors handling Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, projects in the region leading to the abandonment of several projects of the commission, an, NGO, Network Advancement Programme for Poverty and Disaster Risk Reduction, NAPPDRR, has warned youths in the region to desist from obstructing the development of the area.
