Police abandon intervention centre in Enugu

Barely one year after the barbaric Fulani herdsmen attacked Nimbo community in Uzo-Uwani local government area, Enugu state where over 40 innocent indigenes of the community were assailed to death in the early hours of Apri 25th 2016, the proposed intervention police station in the area remains a ghost land since its approval by the former Inspector- General of Police, Solomon Arase.

Okorocha to relocate Imo police headquarters

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, yesterday, said that he was going to relocate the state police headquarters. Okorocha stated this yesterday, while interacting with the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, and other senior police officers, as well as the state commissioner of police, Mr Chris Ezike, at the Government House, Owerri.

Mr. Ambode is alleged to have ordered the Governing Council of the Chapel of Christ the Light, Alausa, Ikeja, to sack the presiding Chaplain, Venerable Femi Taiwo for “disrespecting” his wife, Mrs. Bolanle Ambode, during the anointing service on Sunday, May 14, 2017. The Venerable failed to give Mrs. Ambode and her entourage preferential treatment. He made her to queue and wait for her turn like other mortals. The report said Mrs. Ambode patiently waited for her turn and stormed out after the anointing!
