With a couple of successful singles to his credit, fast rising singer, Minjin, is gradually finding a comfortable spot on the Nigerian music scene, and he doesn’t seem to be relenting in his resolve to take over the industry with his never-say-never attitude.

In a very recent interview with Showtime, the non-conformist singer took a brave swipe at celebrities who have been showing off their good deeds to the less privileged on social media. He advised them to quit boasting about helping the needy on social media.
“I think it’s a showoff when you buy a couple of cartons of provisions and you just take a picture and put a caption ‘that’s how we roll, we give back’; things like that don’t trigger me. Bill Gates gives back to countries, not even to just motherless babies, he gives to nations that are suffering from famine and other problems, but we don’t see him taking pictures and showing off on social media”, he said.
In his opinion, it is more dignifying to be silent about helping the needy than showing it off on social media. “Do your own quota and quit showing it off on social media”, he retorted.
