Institute of Management and Technology,IMT, Enugu on Thursday elected new students union government, SUG, to pilot the affairs of the institution for the next one year.

The election which was free and fair saw to the emergence of Mr, Sunday E.Nsude from Civil Engineering as the President, Miss Chiamaka C. Morah  from Food Science Tech as the Vice president, Precious Ibelan from Public Administration as the Secretary General, Onyebuchi Anyanechi from Mass Communication as the Assistance Secretary, Sunday Ani from Cooperative Economics and management as the Finance Minister.

Others includes, Innocent Ugwuanyi from Science Laboratory Technology as the Deputy Finance Minister, Emmanuel Ogbonna from Science Laboratry Technology as the Sports Minister, Caleb Ugwu from Public Administration as the Establishment Minister, Emma Okwuagwu from Public Administration as the Minister for Welfare, Francis Chukwu from Mechanical Engineering as the Minister for Social and Christian Ogbu from Mass Communication  as the Minister for Information.

Speaking after the election the Head of Department, HOD, students affairs, Mr Uche Onyeke said that the election which started from accreditation of voters from each department was successful.

“This successful election started from accreditation of students, from all department in the institution”, he disclosed.
