Mrs. Akeredolu, speaking in Akure, said 35 percent women in the current administration was not too much. She said more women in government would bring about better performance for the administration.
The first lady pointed out that it was high time women were given opportunity to be in charge of political and elective positions in the country, saying women were better managers of resources. The governor, who earlier addressed women groups in his office, said his government would not neglect women in the state. He urged them to “re dedicate themselves for a better tomorrow.”
Meanwhile, the new CPS, Ajiboye, was an Assistant Editor with The Nation newspapers.
Other appointments in the Press Unit include Mr. Dapo Aruwajoye as Press Secretary (Electronic Media) and Fisayo Falodi Press Secretary (Print Media).
