The Bauchi State Agency for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) on Sunday admitted 57 children into the newly established Muhammad Chadi Abubakar vocational college for free education.
This is contained in a statement signed by agency’s Information Officer, Hajiya Aisha Bamai and made available to the newsmen in Bauchi.
According to the statement, the newly admitted students into the college would commence academic activities in earnest.
“About 57 students from the local government areas of the state resumed for the academic session.
“All facilities including hostels,classes, dining hall and sick bay have been provided.
” Upon completion of registration each student will be given a mattress,pillow, bedspread,and a blanket, “she said.
The OVC vocational college Bauchi is an innovation of Gov. Mohammed Abubakar’s administration and is headed by chairman of the Bauchi State Agency for orphans and vulnerable children, Alhaji Ibrahim Hali-Abdullahi.
