JALINGO—The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has won all the 15 local government chairmanship election conducted on Saturday in Taraba State.

The Chairman of Taraba State Independent Electoral Commission, Dr. Philip Duwe, announced the results at the headquarters of the commission in Jalingo, yesterday.

Those who were returned as local government council chairmen were John Yep, Sadauna Local Government; Idi Danfulani, Kalim-Lamido; Muhamed Umar, Gashaka; Nicholas Waniyefiwani, Lau; Abdul Boboji, Jalingo; Danladi Suntai, Bali and Salisu Dogo, Ardo-Kola.

Others were Joseph Mika, Yoro; Adi Daniel, Wukari; Christopher Koshombo, Zing; Yahuza Yahaya, Gasol and Nashua Musa, Donga.

Duwe also declared Shiban Tikari as Chairman of Takum council, Steven Agya, Kurmi and Rimasikwe Karma was declared Chairman for Ussa.

He said the commission was going to seat on how and when to conduct Ibi Local Government election, which was put off for security reasons.
