THE Managing Director of Med-View Airline, Alhaji Muneer Bankole, has called for cooperation between the airlines operating in Nigeria and the Nigeria Immigration Service as both are the first contacts people coming to Nigeria meet. He added that whatever impressions the people take away from their interactions with these two bodies go a long way to shape the impression about Nigeria.

Bankole made this remark during the sendoff ceremony organized by the airport command of the immigration service for the outgoing assistant comptroller general, Mrs Chizoba Dibi, in Lagos.
He also said such cooperation will facilitate pocessing of passengers documents at the airports and cut down delays and the amount of time both passengers and airlines spend at the airports.
While commending the outgoing comptroller for her understanding and cooperation while she was at the Lagos Airport, he prayed that she should continue her good works until she attains the pinnacle of her career.
Interacting with aviation reporters after the event, the MedView managing director disclosed that plans were on to expand the airline operations to anglophone countries within the West African subregion in the next couple of months.
Bankole said the airline would expand its coast to Dakar (Senegal), Conakry (Guinea) and Abidjan (Cote D’Ivoire) in the next two months, noting that the airline has already commenced Lome (Togo) route. He also said arrangements have reached an advanced stage on the commencement of the francophone countries.
According to Bankole, “We started with Anglophone and we are commencing in the next two months to expand to the francophone cities like Dakar, Conakry and Abidjan. We are already in Lome and in the next quarter, we want to be in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
