The event making the 2016 edition of the Most Beautiful Girl In Eko (MBGE)-Beauty Pageant has been scheduled to take place on June 27.

Mrs Quadri further explained that six beauty queens would emerge winners in six categories, namely: Most Beautiful Girl In Eko (MBGE Queen) as overall winner, MBGE Tourism Queen (first runner up), MBGE Entertainment Queen (second runner up), MBGE Environment Queen (Third runner up), MBGE Commerce Queen (fourth runner up) and MBGE Model Queen (fifth runner up), which are new categories besides the Tourism Queen.

She also noted that the Six beauty queens would be attached with chaperons in their official duties and functions till the end of their tenure.

“The chairperson of the planning committee is headed by Miss Courage O. Uwagbale who is also the Beauty Manager, assisted by Miss Ifeoluwa Okengbenro who is also the Public relations and Corporate Affairs Manager while the General Manager, Miss Taiwo Samson will supervise the planning Committee.

“Other members of the committee include Onojaefe Ifeyinwa, Jecinta Chukwueke and Ifeanyi Okonji While the Camp Commandant is Sir Richmond Simeon,” she said.

Advising contestants, Chairman and Chief Executive, Ereon Pageantry, Mr Scherey Momoh said that contestants should always apply for a trade mark registered pageants as it is done in other parts of the world, stressing that trade mark registration differentiates fake and original pageants.

Supported by Lagos state government, the event will play host to host to officials of government parastatals, fashion, movie, and entertainment world personalities with loads of music, dance, comedy, and cultural extravaganza.

Expected personalities from the entertainment industry include Prince Wadada, Aman, Zule zoo, Om shanti, Adasounds, Kuvu, Klint Da drunk, Melody4comedy and a host of others.
