ASABA—Six winners have emerged in the 2016/ 2017 Chris Ikomi Memorial Essay Competition organized by Chevron Nigeria Limited in collaboration with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC and Delta State Government.

The competition, which had participants in two categories of Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary schools, had in the Junior Category, Asisisi Eseoghene (F), a JSS I student of Royal Mira All Saints College, Asaba who came first; Onukwu Chukwudinma Emmanuel (M) a JSS II student of Zappa Basic Secondary School, Asaba, came second and Omoko Miracle, a JSS III student of Immaculate Conception Girl’s Secondary School, Obeti-Oliogo, came third.

In the Senior Secondary Category, Afeli Daniel (M) an SS III student of Peter and Mary Juniorate Asaba clinched the first position; Osakwe Pandora (F) a JSS III of Basic Secondary School, Warri, came second while the third position went to Nzei Victor (M) an SS III student of Word of Faith College, Asaba.
