THE Vanguard Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, has expressed optimism of a prosperous year irrespective of the hardship in Nigeria.

It also rededicated itself to the paper’s vision of being the best media group with the widest reach through innovation backed by excellent service delivery, highly motivated human capital and latest technology.

At a New Year gathering, Sunday, at the company’s headquarters in Lagos convened to observe the beginning of the year with fanfare, Editor of Vanguard Newspapers, Mr. Eze Anaba urged the staff to be dedicated, noting that every hard working staff would reap the benefits.

Similarly, the Deputy Editor, Mr. Kunle Adekoya, said the leadership of the Editorial department would provide the necessary administrative and professional leadership needed for Vanguard to grow.

He further urged the staff to leverage on their knowledge and competence in order to achieve greater results in the industry this year.

It was a cheerful atmosphere at the News Room where the event held, as members of staff commenced the year with greater optimism of better days.
