Tension in Jalingo as man, 32, is stabbed to death

There is high tension in Magami part of Jalingo town, the capital of Taraba state as a man, 32, was discovered stabbed to death along River Magwei.

The man identified as Dogora Maikano, worked with SOLSTEPH Table Water in Magami as a water distributor within Jalingo.

The youths within the area who are close friends to Dogora have threatened that those behind the killing of their friend must be fished out in less than 24 hours.

The close friend who spoke to Vanguard at the scene of the incident said they parted ways with Dogora last night around 7:pm at Gindin-Mangoro in Magami which is close to his house.

Vanguard visited the scene where Dogora was stabbed at the River side and found traces of hard drugs and papers suspected to be used for smoking of herbs and splash of blood on the ground.

Three pairs of foot easy wears were also found at the scene

There was a sign of where he was stabbed and also prints that depicted struggle up twelve meters where he fell down and died.

The police public relation officer Taraba state command PPRO Mr David Misal confirmed the incident. He said the police went to the scene of the incident and the command was waiting for useful information.
