President of Western Nigeria Union Conference of Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Nigeria, Pastor Oyeleke Owolabi has said the current economic challenge in the country will soon be a thing of the past.

Speaking at the inauguration of newly elected church officers, directors and executive committee members during 2nd Quadrennial Constituency session of Lagos Mainland Conference of the church, Owolabi urged Nigerians to be prayerful and be patient with the Buhari-led administration.

He stressed that the economic crisis will soon go away in a matter of time because of the grace of God that is abundant upon the nation.

The cleric admonished the elected officers to work as a team, not forgetting the place of prayer while discharging their duties, adding that team work will enable them to formulate policies that will impact productivity, growth and development of the Lagos Mainland Conference.

The newly elected president, Pastor Ibraheem Jimoh, said that his administration will ensure unity among all people in the conference and will give priority to evangelism during his tenure.
