Abuja -The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) have expressed sadness over the death of Mrs Briskila Dalung, wife of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr Solomon Dalung.

The NYSC Director-General, Brig.-Gen. Sule Kazaure, in a statement signed by Mrs Bose Aderibigbe, the NYSC Director of Press, described the death of Mrs Dalung as a great loss.

Kazaure prayed God to comfort the bereaved family, stating that all the staff of the NYSC was standing in prayers with the family in this moment of grief.

He prayed the almighty God to give the minister and the rest of the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

r Genshak Golak, Dalung’s Personal Assistant, confirmed her death in Jos on Sunday.

Golak said that she died on the morning of Jan. 29, after a brief illness.

The aide said she died in a private hospital in Jos.
