Following the news making the rounds that two MMM participants have proposed to each other after meeting via the ponzi scheme, Mavrodi Mundia Moneybox, MMM, the said lady in question has debunked the claim saying it is false.

According to the lady whose real name is Okotie Oritseweyinm, she “only took a picture with the guy and post on her Facebook page only for some people to copy it and post in an MMM Facebook group page saying she is getting married to another participant.”

Recall that it was falsely reported that one of them, a Facebook user  with the name, Valentine Onu, posted the news on the Facebook group of the scheme saying he just proposed to her and she said yes.

However, the distraught lady who, reached out to Vanguard, said she is not even a participant of the ponzi scheme and that it is totally false. She also said that the young man in the picture is only a friend.

She however urged Nigerians to disregard the news as it is one of those un-properly researched stories by over-zealous reporters.
