The governor of Gombe State, Mr Ibrahim Dankwambo has received the report of the committee on Biometric Verification of Staff in Gombe State Civil Service Commission.

While presenting the document in the governor’s office, Mr Daniel Musa, the Head of Civil Service in the state said this was a thorough job by the committee.

The Commissioner of Information, Hon. Umar Nafada while expressing his satisfaction at the exercise said that the verification will help curb the incessant issue of ghost workers in the state.

The governor in his reaction thanked the committee and promised that Gombe State will immediately get the Civil Service back to order.
