The state he governs, like most in the country, has been financially challenged to the extent that it took a bail out from the Federal Government to pay salaries. Concerned Citizens for Educational Development, a civil rights group, has asked the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamau Adamu, to take steps to comply with the presidential directives on the recall of the 13 Vice Chancellors of some federal universities whose appointments were wrongfully terminated by the Federal Government in February.
