Court rejects Tarfa’s application
A Lagos High Court sitting at Igbosere, held yesterday that it has the jurisdiction to entertain the charge brought by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC against a member of the inner bar, Mr Rickey Tarfa SAN. Tarfa had through his counsel, Mr Anthony Idigbe SAN,filed an application seeking to quash the charge against him.
Nigerian fitters fault exclusion of members in Dangote refinery project
The Fitters Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, FISAN, has faulted the exclusion and non employment of Nigerian fitters in the ongoing construction of the $14 billion Dangote Oil Refinery, saying it is total violation of the country’s Local Content Act.
