Why Oronsaye is being prosecuted, by group

A non-governmental organisation, Integrity Group, has ascribed the ongoing trial of former Head of Service of the Federation, HOS, Mr Steve Oronsaye, to persecution over a report which sought to merge the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, with other anti-graft agencies in the country when he was still in service.

Keshi: Burial plans out

After a torrid week in the history of Nigerian football during which two greats, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi and Shuaibu Amodu passed on, burial plans for Keshi is expected to commence this week with meetings to be held with various strata of government. Amodu was buried on Saturday according to Muslim rites.

The former governor of Anambra State has disagreed with the notion that said Nigerian states are incapable of paying salaries, insisting that with prudence and prioritizing, state could pay salaries and engage in other developmental activities.
