ABUJA-President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated Mrs. Chioma Rochas Okorocha, the First Lady of Imo State on her birthday which was marked on Wednesday.
In the birthday message to the wife of the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, the President said:”I am particularly happy with the life of service you have led so far,” noting that as the Chairperson of ‘She Needs A Roof Project,’ the governor’s wife has been making life easier for widows and the weaker members of the society.”
President Buhari said it was heartening to note that Mrs. Okorocha has so far delivered more than 200 homes to widows as part of her charitable undertakings.
He urged the First Lady to continue in her invaluable support to her husband, Governor Rochas Okorocha as he brings CHANGE to Imo State.
President Buhari also enjoined her to “strive to do more for widows and the less privileged members of the society at a time the country is going through painful but unintended consequences of change.”
