The Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Ayi Ni O, Surulere has said that, the just concluded three days revival was organized to pray for the restoration and transformation of the country and the body of Christ.

With the theme: “ Total Transformation “, the General Leaders, Special Apostle, Sunday Korode disclosed that, the present situation the country is faced with calls for total transformation of both the country and the church in order to restore its failed glory.

According to him, “The theme of the end of the year crusade could not have been inspired at a better time than now when our land is beclouded with some economic and social challenges which have put a lot of Nigerians under considerable strain. Adding that, the 3-day crusade was an avenue for everyone to be totally transformed and be set free from all challenges”, he added.

The event which started on Friday December 2nd  and ends today, at the church Auditorium was witnessed by all and sundry.

The Special Apostle, explained that, there is need for total transformation in the church and the country in particular at a time when the country is in recession.

The crusade, he said has made tremendous impact in areas including praying for people, families, organizations, states and country.

According to him, “Nigerians including the politicians need to be renewed both in minds and bodies as the country needs total transformation which would cause it to be closer to God, especially at this time. “It is a transformation that involves the renewal of mind and character which must manifest in the statements we make, our attitude and love towards one another and in particular to our dear country”, he reiterated.

“With the present situation in the country, we all need to be prayerful, so as to be totally transformed economically, spiritually, physically among others.

“God is at work in our country, we can see what happened in Ondo State, the election that people thought would cause trouble was conducted peacefully. It tells us that our Creator is ready to safe us  and provide for all our needs”, he added.

Also speaking, Chairman of the revival committee, Apostle  Andrew Diya Olu, said, the reason for the revival was to spread the gospel of Christ to all nation according to the commandment of  God.
