To promote the use of the Ukwuani language, two companies, Emaflex Agro Allied Ventures Limited and Good Deal Communications Limited, publishers of Ndokwa Vanguard, will launch a N90,000 scholarship award at the biennial dance organised by Ukwuani Foundation Union, UFU.

While lauding the initiative, UFU President, Chief Joseph Olise, said the event, scheduled for Saturday, was an opportunity to save the Ukwuani language from extinction. He thanked Mr. Alaska Ekele of Good Deal and Mr. Emmanuel Ezumezu of Emaflex for the move.

A statement by the foundation said a committee has been set up to work out the modalities for the award.
