SOLDIERS invaded Oporoza the traditional headquarters of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government of Delta State today.

It was not too clear what their mission was, but women and youths of the community and neighboring Azama poured into streets in protest, decrying incessant invasion of the area.

They called on the government to stop the intimidation by security agents.

The Ibe-Benemowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom and acting Secretary of the Gbaramatu Traditional Council, GTC, Chief Godspower Gbenekama, confirmed to Vanguard on phone that soldiers entered Oporoza this morning.
