EXECUTIVE Director, Public Affairs to Edo State Governor, Mr Henry Okpamen, has congratulated the governor-elect, Godwin Obaseki and the people of state on the victory of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the governorship election.

Addressing newsmen, yesterday, Okpamen praised Governor Adams Oshiomhole on the emergence of a worthy successor to lead the people, adding that Obaseki’s victory was a testimony to the acceptability of his welfarist and grassroots- oriented programmes.

Okpamen added that the good work of APC-led government of Oshiomhole spoke eloquently during the campaign and at the election, adding that the people of Edo State should continue to pray for the out going governor and Obaseki, whom he said would surpass Oshiomhole’s records.
