OLEH—HOST Communities of Nigeria, Oil and Gas, HOSTCOM, Isoko nation chapter, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari,  for the appointment of the National Chairman of the body, Dr. Mike Emuh, as member of the board of trustees of the Ogoni clean-up project.

The chapter, in a statement by its chairman, Mr. Odiri Akpode, said: “It is on record that this is the first time a president of this country has considered someone from host communities producing oil and gas for an appointment. This singular act from President Buhari is a testimony to the fact that he has Niger Delta and the entire country at heart.”
