THE Association of Private Practising Surveyors of Nigeria, APPSN, have stressed the need for practising surveyors to engage in training and development programmes in order to enhance competence and high professional ethics for national development.

Chairman of APPSN, Mr. Odetunmibi Olufemi gave the charge at the annual workshop of the association with the theme: “New Nigeria: The Roles, Right and Responsibility of Surveyors in National Re-Birth.”

Odetunmibi, a fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Surveyors, NJS, also ascribed the frequent collapse of various infrastructure across the country to not having the foundation right, stressing that the nation must realize that surveyors across are better equipped to ensure that right foundation are put in place for  national development.
